“Never cut a tree down in the wintertime. Never make a negative decision in the low time. Never make your most important decisions when you are in your worst moods. Wait. Be patient. The storm will pass. The spring will come.”

Celebrating EMS week!
Today we’re starting off our week by celebrating EMS week. The theme for 2020 is “Ready Today. Preparing for Tomorrow.” This will last from May 17th-May 23rd. This brings the community and their local EMS together. Different communities do different things. EMS week also helps to educate others and help celebrate with games and cookouts sometimes. Each day of the week gives us something to learn about:
- Monday – EMS Education Day
- Tuesday – Safety Tuesday
- Wednesday – EMS for Children Day
- Thursday – Save a Life
- Friday – EMS Recognition Day
Each of these days represent safety, and something to bring the community and health care workers together. During this pandemic, please be mindful of social distancing and large gatherings. We can still observe our EMS through this event. Thank you for all your support, strength and help during this pandemic. You can also share and find more information if you use #NationalEMSWeek. Last night we decided to watch a movie called: The Hunt. The background of this movie is that Elite’s kidnap people that they think did the world wrong. These non elite people had an inkling on what was going on but wasn’t sure. In the genre, they have it as horror, action and thriller…It is none whatsoever a horror movie! They should replace it though with comedy because boy did I laugh during this movie. There are a lot of great funny actors that I think play their part very well for the movie. I don’t want to put a lot of spoilers in the movie except, the main character…She is a badass!
During this quarantine I know it feels like forever. Time doesn’t really mean anything anymore and it may feel like the days never end. Movies do help pass the time which is nice and you can catch up on them. Maybe you may have a bucket list of movies to watch, I know I do. I’m slowly crossing them off as I have movie nights. Make a day out of it, enjoy yourself and take quarantine life to another level. Stay strong my lovelies. ❤️
