January: Just Read

Blogging is a way to escape. A place where you can write what you’re feeling or think the world should know. When I first started this, I was still finding out what I liked, and what worked best for me. Over that time, things have definitely changed. Im constantly learning new things. How to improve what I read, write and live about. For example, I used to goal orientate my months to the EXTREME. This caused me to panic and stress out when I couldn’t meet those goals. This year I decided against that and to just live and learn through the year.

Just Read

For the month of January I decided to go with the theme of “Just Read.” I chose this theme because I haven’t been reading as much as I’ve wanted to. With Nursing school starting, I’m bombarded with textbooks instead. While I am learning from them, I’m not relaxing with them. This month I picked up my book of The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and started to read. It’s almost the end of January and the book is more than halfway read. One way I kept up on my reading so far was to try something new and kind of fun. Everyday of the month I would read the amount of pages pertaining to the date. For example, today for January 28th I read 28 pages. It’s a nice and straightforward way of keeping up with something.

What was the last book you read for fun? Any books you would suggest to read?

Time to Ring in the New Year

I hope everyone celebrated the new year safely and happily. This new year I will be doing it a little differently. I usually like to make resolutions to try and achieve by the end of the year. However, I tend to undershoot and end up disappointed that I didn’t set out to do. Instead, I will be doing my normal life and just being as positive and proactive as I can be. This takes some stress off of my shoulders and will hopefully let me spend this year better. I’m seeing this as a trial period and how it turns out.

How did you celebrate the new year? Any goals or new ways to spend the year?

July 19th 2021

I hope everyone is having a fantastic summer so far. I know I have been kind of quiet these last few weeks. A lot of things started happening at once, so I had to take care of those items. Hopefully soon I will post a little bit about what has been going on with me this summer. I hope you keep enjoying these summer months and keep on staying safe.

PINCHme Free Products

I tried out PINCHme.com to see if it was actually a legitimate thing. I signed up for the website which was free, and made my profile. I went in expecting that it was fake and nothing would ever come of it. Well, fast forward about two weeks and I received my first PINCHme box of free goodies. The ones I received were trial size which is great. I was also given 5 different things to test out and see how I like them. The samples came in a cute hot pink box packed nice and neat.

The items that I received were:

  • Airborne immune and natural energy support.
  • Head and Shoulders conditioner with Argon and Jojoba oil.
  • Head and Shoulders shampoo supreme nourishment.
  • Compeed blister care pain relief patch.
  • Lumify eye drops.

These freebies were a great first batch for me because, I use them. I like the brand Airborne so to try something different and for free was great. I have used Head and Shoulders in the past and it it didn’t quite work out for me. So when I received the shampoo and conditioner I was a bit hesitant. It turned out to work just fine, and now I use them in my travel bag. I had never heard of Compeed blister care patches before, I only knew of the moleskin to use for blisters. I don’t get blisters often and when I do, it’s because of hiking or walking long distances. I have not had a chance to try this out yet. The Lumify eye drops are fantastic. I get seasonal allergies sometimes and that comes with the dry itchy eyes. Lumify helps take the itch away and gives my eyes a bit of relief.

After receiving my first box and seeing future offers I will continue to try PINCHme out and see how it goes. It’s unique and always fun to receive free samples. It definitely helps when you want to just try something and not buy the full size. If there are any questions you may have, feel free to message me! Have fun!

“They tried to stand off the soldiers, but the men fired and killed them both. So the song’s wrong about the jail, but that’s put in for poetry. You can’t allus have things like they are in poetry. Poetry ain’t what you’d call truth. There ain’t room enough in the verses.”
